3 Follow-Up Lines That Actually Move the Sale Forward
Plus what NOT to say...
You know the line.
You’ve probably said the line. I’ve definitely said the line.
"Let me know if you have any questions."

It’s the most polite way to end a sales conversation. And it’s also the most passive.
Because here’s what it does: it puts the responsibility back on the buyer.
And when a buyer is unsure, overwhelmed, or still weighing options… that’s the moment they need you to lead.
Here are three easy swaps that still sound warm but move the conversation forward:
#1. "Would it be helpful if I sent over a quick breakdown of what we discussed?" This keeps you in motion, shows you’re paying attention, and makes it easier for them to say yes.
#2. "Can I share how others have used this offer successfully?" No one wants to feel like a guinea pig. Offering examples builds trust and creates context for action.
#3. "If you’re still unsure, want to hop on a quick call to talk it out?" It’s casual. It’s low-stakes. And it’s often exactly what gets people to a yes.
You don’t need to push. But you do need to lead.
So next time you catch yourself about to type those six little words, stop and remember:
Being clear and confident isn’t aggressive. It’s the kindest thing you can be.
