At Salesgirl Social, we know that a woman changing the world needs the stamina to do it.

We’re here to talk about business, sales, marketing and success… but let’s be real, none of that matters if you’re hiding in your office bloated, running purely on caffeine and chaos. That’s why we’re bringing in Kara Swanson as our Women’s Health Contributor.

She’s got the credentials, the expertise, and (most importantly) the ability to talk about digestion without making us want to disappear into the abyss.

To taking care of us one time, girls.

Somewhere along the way, taking care of your gut turned into this hardcore survival mission… like you need to ferment your own sauerkraut and give up literally everything you love just to keep your digestion in check.

I’m here to tell you: You don’t need to eat like a caveman and brew your own kombucha to have a happy gut.

4 ways that busy women like you can take care of your gut without a major diet overhaul:

#1. More plants, more wins.
Your gut bacteria love fiber. And where do you find fiber? Plants. A good start? 25 grams of fiber each day.

#2. Chill on the ultra-processed stuff (without getting weird about it).
Think of it like this: LESS “ingredient lists longer than a CVS receipt,” MORE “things your grandma would recognize.”

#3. Don’t sleep on hydration.
Your gut needs water like your two-year-old niece needs attention—constantly. If you’re bloated or struggling with digestion, dehydration might be playing a role.

#4. Less stress, more poops.
If you’re always bloated, anxious, or running on caffeine and cortisol, your gut is feeling it. Simple things like deep breathing, morning sunlight, and actually chewing your food (wild, I know) can work wonders. I said simple, not easy.

Here’s to happy guts (and even happier poops).
