You know how every couple has their restaurant?

Well, we weren’t a couple. We were a group of co-founders. But we had one too.

It had a sign that said $5 Margarita Mondays and enough queso to justify anything.

Special shoutout to Ceviche in downtown Alpharetta, GA. The table to the far right has seen some stuff.

We weren’t there for fun. (Okay… a little.) We were there because we needed to figure out what we were building. We had an idea, a friendship, and 18 different directions we could go.

So we did what all great businesswomen do:
We ordered tacos. We spread out the napkins. And we made some of our first big decisions over salsa.

It wasn’t glamorous. It wasn’t on a retreat in Sedona. But it was real.

We didn’t know it then, but we were setting a precedent: Big decisions can be made in regular places.

With messy notes and napkins. Without the right font or the final numbers. Just you, your gut, and your girls.

So yeah, maybe Cinco de Mayo isn’t technically a business holiday. But around here? It’s Founders Day.

And we’ll never look at a taco salad the same again.

Founders Day Checklist 🪅

Pick a day this week and do one (or all) of the following:

✅ Grab a friend or biz partner and go off-site. Yes, a booth counts.
✅ Ask: “What feels clear right now? What feels fuzzy?”
✅ Brain-dump on napkins (or Notes app if you’re classy)
✅ Commit to one next move before you close your tab
✅ Celebrate with queso. Always queso.

Who’s your taco table person? Forward this to her. Tell her she’s due for a margarita.

If you don’t have your business bestie yet, queso alone tastes just as good and your time is coming.
