My family is a big  “Christmas List” type of family. My sister is super specific about gifts, and as I am typing this I can just hear her saying “so are you!” Okay, so sue me, I want what I want!

I am somewhat of an over-consumer...

I love to try products and constantly on the search for the next something that will change my life, and that’s great news for you

Here are the products I have tried as a business owner that get the “Olive Marie” stamp of approval and should be on every salesgirl's list:

  • Airpods- I have tried a lot of headphones in my life and I have never felt about any other pair the way I do about my Airpods. The noise canceling is so good I accidentally missed my flight boarding because I had the time mixed up and was jamming to T-Swift. Airplane, gym, beach, office approved! These also make an excellent gift for significant others, business partners, family, etc!

  • Laptop stand + keyboard- I have had terrible back and neck pain for as long as I can remember. I have a massage therapist, chiropractor and acupuncturist in rotation- but what has made the largest difference is a laptop stand and Bluetooth keyboard. In 2025 you can’t be looking down at your laptop all day. We’re bringing everything up to eye level. I also love the rainbow lights on this keyboard and you can’t put a price tag on joy.

  • Cervical neck pillow - I am a total Goldilocks when it comes to pillows - can’t be too thin, too thick, or too soft. I bought the cervical neck pillow off TikTok (lol) and have since bought others for when I visit my family because I can’t go without it. You can’t beat the price or the results.

  • Blue blockers- I am not sure if neck pain and migraines go hand and hand for everyone, but I got the two for one. These days I feel like I move from looking at my computer, to my phone, to my tv screen. My eyes were feeling TIRED at the end of the day often leading to headaches. Blue blockers have made such a positive difference. I have tried expensive ones and cheap ones and found the Amazon ones work just as well and are often cuter. Jackpot.

  • A good moisturizer- As a beauty a-holic, I can admit it… I definitely have a problem. Lucky for you, I have just about tried it all. I’ve never been a full glam at the office girlie, but working from home has allowed me to uplevel my skincare game. Here are my favorites:

    • Instant angel - This creamy formula that gives you an instant glow. Perfect for when your face is feeling like it could use a bit of moisture or you have a heavy Zoom day. Also could be a great primer before makeup.

    • Thirst Fix - This is the ride or die. I have tried so many moisturizers and find myself coming back to this one over and over. If I feel my skin start to freak out, this brings it back to baseline. Sensitive skin girlies, you’re safe with this one.

    • Vanicream- This is your winter staple for even the driest climates (Denver gal here…). It’s cheap, and it has been working miracles for decades (ask your Grandma). Bonus points if you mix in a couple of drops of oil!

  • Colors- This is a higher ticket item on the list but has the potential to change your life, for real. Last year I had my colors done by House of Colour Canton and found out I was a “sultry winter” who knew?! I would have sworn up and down that gold and olive green were my ‘power colors’, but enter pine green, fuchsia and electric blue. And I can’t deny the facts, anytime I wear those colors out of the house I get stopped and complimented. Now I know exactly what to wear for brand photos, speaking events and sales calls. This is what I am gifting my mom, sister and best friends this Christmas (🤫 don’t tell them). Find a consultant near you!

  • Spotify Premium- This is my favorite monthly subscription I pay for month over month. I love making a queue, downloading playlists for airplanes, and of course ad-free listening. If I am working, driving, cooking or doing chores you can bet I am jamming to a Spotify playlist! Get 3 months free for a limited time!

I hope my list helps you with yours!

If I didn’t mention a product here you’ve had your eyes on, reply to this email! There is a good chance your over-consumption-core bestie (meeeee) has already tested it for you and can send a review.

Tis the season!
