Conviction is the Key to a Successful Business

Conviction is defined as “a firmly held belief.”

Synonyms of belief are: point of view, attitude, stance, perspective and thinking.

The Law of Polarity states that everything in the universe has an opposite. Everything is dual which means everything holds an opposing truth.

Everything in life is 50/50.

When it’s raining, if you go outside you will get wet (and you likely won’t enjoy it) AND so will your plants (who will love it).

If you start a business, people might judge you AND you are living up to your potential.

If you send a daily email, people might unsubscribe AND people will be excited to hear from you.

If you start selling, you will feel nervous AND you will experience the thrill of accomplishment.

If you create a product, people will love it AND people will find things wrong with it.

Without hate, there can’t be love. Without one, you’d feel neither.

Why is this important? In your journey - there will always be a differing point of view.

You shouldn’t sell, it’s a scam. You shouldn’t run, it’s bad for your joints. You shouldn’t send an email every day, no one cares. You shouldn’t be a life coach, you don’t have enough life experience. How are you going to exercise everyday, you barely have time to shower? How can you talk about money, you haven’t made a million dollars?

Have you ever read TikTok comments? There is nothing people won’t say.

And sometimes, it’s not someone saying it TO you, it’s you saying it to yourself.

Rest assured: there was a point of view that made you begin.

The question is: How can you hold on to it and keep going?

You could say the most perfect words in the world, but if you don’t believe, why should anyone else?

Your conviction opens up your prospects' mental door that says, “There’s some substance in her. I’m not sure what it is, but I am ready to listen in order to find out.”

People don’t always need to believe what you’re saying, they need to believe that YOU believe that they are saying.
