How to Never Run Out of Content Ideas

Steal this inspo-drought strategy from a newsletter founder that writes 4x per week, every week

Content creators of any kind know what it’s like to sit down and feel like there’s no way anything new or helpful, and certainly not both, could be written or recorded today.

Or WORSE… you finally cover the topic that’s been swirling around in your head for days and it low-key feels like you just set a $100 bill on fire.

It’s gone and I have nothing else to offer and an audience* waiting to hear from me!

*even if it’s just your mom right now - it won’t always be. we love you, mom.

Now I really believe that there are some key strategies to staying inspired as a content creator. We can talk about those later.

But even when you’re doing everything right, sometimes a dog just needs a bone, amen?

If you need something to write or talk about today, steal my inspo-drought strategy:

  1. Scroll your blog, Instagram, YouTube, any content you’ve created in the past 6+ months

  2. Pick one to read or watch

  3. Try not to cringe (because I know you’re so much better now than you were the first time you wrote it)

  4. Write or record a new message on the same topic

What do you MEAN? I’ve already covered that. It’s dead and gone!

I have the best news ever for you: There are no new messages, only new messengers.

And YOU become a new messenger with every book you read, every bit of life and business that you experience…

I recently heard that, “A man can never enter the same river twice. The river is different and so is he.”

When it feels like you’ve got nothing new you could possibly say, re-write your old content as the person you are NOW.

(Plus, your audience and mom either didn’t read it the first time or need to hear it again anyway…)
