If You Learn One Thing Make It Be This
Lessons from my first time riding in a private jet
Flying private was never on my bucket list.
But I added it today just so I could check it off.
Not only was “flying private" not on my bucket list, OG subscribers know that I’d actually rather walk across the country than be on an aircraft of any kind.
Planes flying makes absolutely no sense - private, commercial or cargo. I do not make the rules but I know them and HOW?
I don’t have answers, but I did learn something major from Myron on that flight today.
It was not a lead generation strategy (though he has plenty of those).
The coolest thing I learned was that he used to be afraid of flying.
Myron??? Jet settin’ Myron??? Afraid of FLYING?
I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t hear it come straight from his mouth, in the seat right across from me.
He USED to be afraid of flying. And he didn’t !!jUST gEt oVeR iT!! like my friends (rightfully) suggest I do.
He went to flight school.
“And now there’s nothing about flying that scares me. It all makes perfect sense.”
Fear comes from a lack of knowledge and learning eliminates fear.
By now, we’ve arrived at the final stop of the week-long brain bender:
Boise, ID for Russell Brunson’s Inner Circle Mastermind 📍
We were just about to finally go to bed…
When Annie Grace, our friend, best-selling author and longtime member of Russell’s highest level masterminds, sent a message inviting us to her AirBnB to hangout with her and some others who were in town.
It was already 6:30pm in Boise…
8:30pm according to the time zone we came from…
that’s our bedtime….
we’d just had an amazing dinner…
our phones were on 3%…
It was about to start raining…
we don’t have a car…
we’ll see Annie Grace tomorrow at the event…
It was the perfect night to rest.
So we called an Uber and went to an AirBnB in a suburb of Boise.
We sat on the living room floor with entrepreneurs and business owners who have been in the game a lot longer than we have and make several more millions than we do.
It’s the latest we’ve been awake since college. I’m physically not well. It was awesome.
You’ll learn a lot of things and here’s one you better never forget:
When you're given an opportunity to change your life, be ready to do whatever it takes to make it happen. The world doesn't give things, you take things.
Did last night change our lives? Not yet! But until we’re out of the race, it’ll be too soon to tell.
