Spring Cleaning Your Website: Easy Fixes for a Fresh Glow-Up

In partnership with

Life Feeling Heavy? A Better You Starts with BetterHelp

Stress, anxiety, relationship struggles—life doesn’t pause when things feel overwhelming. But you don’t have to go through it alone. More than 5 million people have turned to BetterHelp, finding support from licensed therapists in as little as 48 hours.

Therapy should fit into your life, not disrupt it. That’s why BetterHelp lets you connect with a therapist in the way that works best for you—by phone, video, or text. You can even use your FSA or HSA funds to help cover the cost, and for a limited time, you’ll get 30% off your first three months.

Don’t put your mental health on hold—take the first step today.

Spring is on the way and at this rate should be here by June. I hate that friggin’ groundhog.

To distract us until the sun shines again and we all have a new lease on life, let’s chat spring cleaning. 🧼

While you’re getting ready to purge your closet, swap out winter coats for lighter layers, open the windows, and do whatever else clean girl aesthetic TikTok tells you will refresh your life, I’m going to talk about something else you need to spruce up…

Your dusty website.

Websites are usually the first thing we create when we launch our business, but then we get so busy making sh*t happen that our website slowly becomes outdated and doesn’t match the ✨glowed up✨ version of the brand you’ve built. Maybe your business has evolved, but your messaging hasn’t.

Grab an overpriced vacuum. We’re going to handle this.

GRWM to Clean Up Your Website

While I welcome the business, you don’t always need to hire a suuuper talented, witty, and professional copywriter (who? me?) to give your web copy a little spring in its step.

You’re more capable than you think you are at this whole writing thing so I’m going to give you small updates that will help your website feel like a brand👏new 👏woman👏. Because she deserves it. And so do you.

If you were to ask me to glance at your site right now and tell you four things to change asap, this is what I would hold your hand and say:

🌸 Clean up the dirty deets – Refresh product details, pricing (raise ‘em up!!), bios, service offerings, etc.

🌸 Refresh dusty headlines – A small change that makes a big difference. Have a little fun, don’t be scared to get creative. Swap out a boring “About Me” headline with something that fits your personality.

🌸Add a sparkling testimonial – Easy to do and makes you look good better.

🌸Keep it clean – Make sure your contact info is easy to find. Don’t take clients on a scavenger hunt. They don’t have the attention span to play hide and seek with the most important information on your site.

Spoiler alert – spring cleaning your website should not be an overwhelming task.

Don’t make it hard on yourself. Think of it like dusting the ceiling fan – it’s the last thing you want to do, but once you get started it doesn’t take as long as you thought and you’re going to feel super accomplished when you’re done.

A few simple updates like this will breathe new life into your site and make it feel more aligned with the brand you’ve built.

Good luck, have fun with it, and happy cleaning!
