I’m still chasing the high of completing my local public library’s summer reading program back in 2000.
Lucky for me, I just found something similar exists for adults at my neighborhood library and you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be a proud participant. If I win a pizza party you’re all invited.
As a business woman I know I should be striving to ABL (Always Be Learning), but I want to feel like summer break still exists in the real world so my summer reading list is going to be F-U-N.
Here’s the list of books (by all female authors) that you’ll find me reading on my patio this summer. Please hold your applause until the end.
I’ll Have What She’s Having by Chelsea Handler
We Need Your Art: Stop Messing Around and Make Something by Amie McNee
Favourite Daughter by Morgan Dick
Women Living Deliciously by Florence Given
Thank you for clapping!
Happy summer reading, ladies.
Pro tip! Checking out books from the library is free! But if you can’t find what you’re looking for there, I suggest checking out Better World Books instead of Amazon <3
